Explore the soundscapes of the wasteland! With Continuo, you can design complex cinematic electric guitar textures, including endless pads, unusual soundscapes, characteristic atmospheres, and experimental sublayers. This tool is particularly useful for film, video games, and electronic music. Your continuous journey begins now.
Continuo offers 12 extra-long guitar patches that allow you to explore the soundscapes of the wasteland: the Hojaves and the Badlands.rnrn- The 6 Hojave guitars are raw, almost cello-sounding patches that add life and intimacy to your music. You can also use them as an additional layer to enhance realism. 6 Badlands guitars are straight, edgy, and sometimes organ-like sounding patches that create sharper or epic soundscapes. These guitars use techniques such as bowed, tremolos, vibratos, beaten (with a wooden stick), and driven patches for added texture and depth.
Explore Continuo’s open, huge, and spacey patches. Mix them with other patches to create ethereal or even symphonic orchestra sounding textures. Experience the super long reverbs produced on several Eurorack modules, Eventide, and Strymon pedals for added depth and richness.
Continuo includes additional patches with extra coloring options, including a 300x Stretched Bowed Guitar patch and a Moog Subsequent37 Taped Synth patch.
Continuo offers more than 80 control options to shape your sounds. It features 4 sound modules, each with dedicated effects and modulation options. These include vintage effects, 2 Lexicon-style reverbs, 8 different LFO shapes, an SSL-style channel EQ, a glue compressor, and a master limiter. Use these tools to add edge, brilliance, and richness to your textures!
Continuo was created in collaboration with Iamyank, a multi-instrumentalist producer and songwriter. He crafts memorable scenes for the audience using futuristic synths, spacey guitar, and dirty drums on the edge of instrumental and electronic music.
